Have you ever wonder what the markings on your tyres represent for? It have come to my attention that understanding this marking is fairly important. This is because each tyres have their difference in grip, load and speed limit, and etc.
Each tyres in the market will atleast provide you with two information, these are manufacture and profile, and tyre size. As the name suggest the first information is the manufacturer name and its profile, such as Michelin tyre with Diamaris profile.
The most important information are from the tyre sizes. The information given in tyre size are not limited to tire size. Apart from the width, height, and diameter of the wheel, it also provide driver with further information like maximum load and speed index the tyre can withstand. It is advisable for drivers to follow the markings as diferent types of tyres are suited for different kind of road, speed, and load.
Although there are lots other information you can gain from it, these are the basics information every driver needs to know to ensure your safety on the road.
